Summer has come and gone

By Tiff

Hard to believe that the month of August is almost over. Wow where did the summer go? Lots of things happening at the Ball house this summer.

*LaMont was let go from his job. Started working little odd jobs for people and breeding cows when he can for people around the valley.
*McDermott Family Reunion
*Preston attended the Big Event for scouts
*Jessica went to Seattle
*Babysat Taylor while her parents relaxed for four days in Vegas
*Wind blew our very large Chinese Elm down and broke the fence
*LaMont slaughtered his bulls for beef
*Brittany went to the Heber Valley camp for girls camp for a week
*Bubba died (Brittany's Gecko)
*We took the rest of the tree to the ground. Lots of work and help. Thanks to everyone who stepped up and helped us out
*LaMont went to camp Tomahawk for scout camp for a week
*We hauled all the large stumps out of the yard
*LaMont was sick with the flu
*LaMont interviewed for a new job as a Meat Inspector
*Preston turned 17
*Tiffany went back to work as a Reading Specialist not as a First Grade teacher
*LaMont got a new job.
*All summer we have been looking for that new car for Preston. Which we have not found yet.

Yes, summer is almost over. We have three final events for the summer. Campout with the scouts, boating with the youth, and a yard party with Grandma.

Coming up events for the Fall will include:
*School starting for Preston, Brittany, and Tiffany on Monday, August 25. Jessica will start in October
*New job for LaMont
*BYU football
*Reading Endorsement/Master classes for Tiffany
*Four Wheeling in Overton
